A tribute to ‘Beer Goddess’

I was googling some information about Beer, and found out this.. That, there was a civilization which had a goddess dedicated to Beer, The Sumerians. (The people from Mesopotamia, the present day Iraq) discovered Beer. Just like awesome discoveries, this one too was serendipitous.

They even have a hymn for the goddess, it is in fact nothing but an ancient recipe to create beer. DOUBLE WHAMMY.. I say.. In fact, like Sumerians I too had made a small token tribute to beer gods and goddesses. My blog heading has a cover photo of Beer foam. I don’t know how many of you have noticed that.. Anyways. Salutations Beer gods and goddesses..
